I
am a single-coated fawn Pug. I'm a Virgo, love riding in
the car, going to Starbucks (they give me treats), and watching
Animal Planet. My hobbies are looking sad, sniffing things, and
shedding.

I
live in Green Harbor with my Mum. I have a step brother named Jeeves...
he came with Dad. Jeeves is a Pug of Color. (We are a mixed family.
Mom and Dad are mixed, as well. He went to Cambridge and she went
to Oxford.) Together we enjoy going to Maine with Mum and Dad, running
under the bed, crowding Mum and Dad out of the bed, and snoring
loudly.

Maxy's Mea Culpa

Maxy, protected by daddy but SAD
Ibit daddy.
I know what you're thinking. NO BITING! I understand that this is a bigger rule that can get puggies into big trouble. Really, I do. But even love-buggy pugs like me have to draw the line. It's a hostile world. A pug has to stand up.
So on the day when biggers fall down and make noise while somebody called Dicklark talks about a ball-- which, btw, he never played with once while I was watching-- I bit daddy. It happened like this:
Mommy and daddy were on the couch and mommy went to get up and daddy shoved mommy down and yelled. So I bit him. I love daddy but NO SHOVING MOMMIES is a pug rule so he got bit. Since he seems to use most of his lower bits a lot I bit his face, which looks funny anyway so I figured it wouldn't show.
Only nooooo bad Max. ??????
WT Puggy F?
I guess I am not in charge of when mommy is getting hurt or scared anymore because I blew the call on that one. To be honest, an awful lot of what mommy and daddy do looks pretty unpleasant, which is why daddy likes to say "OUT Maxy" and slam the door sometimes. Only pugs have good hearing. OutMaxy time is funny noise time usually. Plus sometimes OutMaxy time is after Wrestle time and that makes me nervous.
I'm trying to be a good boy here, ok? Cut me a puggy break!
Anyway, mommy got REALMAD at me and was going to do the baddog loudshouts. She had that look that makes me run then crouch and be sad and scared. Only guess what?
DADDY RESCUED ME!
Yup, even though I dented his face and made growlings he scooped me up and said "NO, Badjia," (that's daddy for mommy) "blah blah Maxy blah blah, sweetheart" (that's also daddy for mommy).
PHEW! That was close, friends. I love daddy so much, but he's just NOT ALLOWED to hurt mommy. Mommy is first bigger and everybody else has to be nice to her. I'm not having it any other way!
Still... this was a scary time for me and I think I now understand that I am never to bite daddy even if he makes mommy make noises. She doesn't always SEEM to be making happy noises, but these biggers are very odd. You can't always tell. So I guess daddy knew what he was doing with the OutMaxy thing.

You do a great job of taking care of Mommy. We all appreciate it. by
