I
am a single-coated fawn Pug. I'm a Virgo, love riding in
the car, going to Starbucks (they give me treats), and watching
Animal Planet. My hobbies are looking sad, sniffing things, and
shedding.

I
live in Green Harbor with my Mum. I have a step brother named Jeeves...
he came with Dad. Jeeves is a Pug of Color. (We are a mixed family.
Mom and Dad are mixed, as well. He went to Cambridge and she went
to Oxford.) Together we enjoy going to Maine with Mum and Dad, running
under the bed, crowding Mum and Dad out of the bed, and snoring
loudly.

ALWAYS call the Kennel FIRST
Usually when mummy goes away for a few days I get to go, too. But very soon mum and my nana are planning a get-away and dad, papa, just about everybody will be working all day. This is a problem, since I need treats several times a day and dislike having my pee schedule disrupted.
Mum started looking into luxury pet spas for me. We are looking into a few, but the first call mum made was HORRIFYING!
We asked about some facilities at a kennel in Hanover, MA and were told by the mean man that owned it if I barked too much he would put a collar on me that would electrically shock me! And he said I should be put in a cage until I learned not to be loud when I was sad. He even wanted to put me in a cage with another dog without even asking if I wanted company.
Now... what kind of thinking is THAT? Sad puppies don't need punishment; they need understanding and patience! I just hope this guy doesn't have children. They break even easier than puppies.
No Briarwood Kennels for me... nossir! I'm going to a spa, where they charge the same price to give me cuddles in stead of several volts of mean!

Mom is HOME!
My mummy went away for a few days to have tests so she can breath better. I have no idea how testing somebody helps them breath better. You would think having to take a test might make you wheeze a little, but what do I know? Anyway, mum was GONE for two whole days and I was ALONE.
Almost alone, anyway. Nana and Papa were here but I felt alone. Desolate, even.
It's ok. Don't panic. She always comes back. If you look really sad when she comes back you get extra treats. Which is only fair, when you think about it.
You can read more about the breathing stuff on Mum's Blog.

To Sleep, Purchance to Dream?
Dad has a bad habit of falling asleep on the floor. Mum and I think it's funny. Here is a photograph of me sleeping on Aemon and Allie Kelly's floor by the slider with dad.

It's amazing a bug doesn't crawl in while he's snoring.

Shoutout to the Peeps at Starbucks
Two paws up and a shout out to my peeps at the Marshfield Starbucks. We have received so many treats at this location that we actually went by with a massive bag of bones as a small token of our affection.
There need to be more Starbucks in Southeastern MA... nothing worse than being stuck in a Dunkin' Donuts hell.
